The sewing retreat I attended in March was a great experience. Being able to dedicate a weekend to sewing and having expert tuition from Alison was brilliant. Not sure how Alison does it, as we all made 6 different outfits. The ladies who attended were a real pleasure to be meet and spend time with. Lunch at cafe margaux on the Saturday and Nicola's afternoon tea on the Sunday, were both lovely. I have come away with some greats tips on dressmaking and a real passion to make more clothes. Thanks Alison, Nicola and Izzy.

I loved every second of this course, the team are fantastic, super knowledgeable, patient and a hoot! The equipment is immaculate and easy to use, the group is small which allowed for lots of 1 on 1 tuition with Alison as well as picking up knowledge as a group watching what everyone else is up to, it was all about getting stuck in and doing it yourself which was brilliant. We struck gold with our little group, all at different skill levels which meant lots of different things happened which we could all learn from. They have a great choice of fabric to choose from and happy to help you if you get stuck in choosing (Thank you Izzy!). Lunch was provided on day two at a lovely café just up the road which I will visit again. The cherry on top of the whole weekend was the afternoon tea, home baked by Nicola, those Scones were DELICIOUS! The whole event was so well thought out and worth EVERY penny. I already have my eye on some of the other courses they will be running in the coming months. Not only did I walk away from this course with lots of new skills, a new cross back apron and a dress but I’ve also walked away with some lovely new friends. Looking forward to next time x

Attended the Essential Sewing Workshop and absolutely loved it. The tuition was pitched just right for me as a novice. Thrilled to have made a cushion that looks pretty decent. Will definitely book more workshops. Thanks 😊

A complete beginner when I enrolled on the essential sewing skills with tutor Julie. Loved it. Bought my Brother sewing machine from mill creations shortly after! Recently completed beginners dress making project- love my dress, with tutor Alison. Cannot recommend school of sewing courses highly enough. Now making my own skirts and dresses- fabrics from Mill Creations are gorgeous and of a high quality. Thank you xx
