I have always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine as I often have to get school uniform adjusted and I know it would be cheaper if I could do it myself. I even went as far as buying a sewing machine, which ended up sitting in the cupboard for two years. I sent an email to ‘School of Frock’ asking if they could teach me and my daughter how to use a sewing machine. Cilene got back to me and explained all the great options she had regarding classes, group sessions or one to one session. We went with one to one, which has been great. I initially wanted the lesson to adjust clothes, but it has given me and my daughter the skills to make our own creations. Cilene is a very friendly and knowledgeable person, who makes learning to sew a joy and she has opened a new world to us. Both my daughter and I really look forward to our lessons and the new creations we will learn to make.
