They hounded me for fees even though I was unable to finish the course to the point of taking it to court. They are scammers and have no conscious. You can’t get hold of the finance department. They say they will get back to you but never do.

The company is a Scam, they take your money, give you a few online lessons then, they disappear. Nobody in the company answers emails or calls, only the receptionist and sales team who know nothing. They give you lots of excuses for not answering. Don't waste your time and money. I will be taking this further to make sure you close down for business and stop scamming people.

My experience was awful with them, I won t recomend it, this school stressed me out for not reason, if you a a person who does not endure lies, disrispect and poor behaviour, I won t recommend it, their policy is a lie, they only support based on likes or dislikes, I would call this school full of bullyes and injustices, don t go there if you are a person who cannot kiss the bottom and who like to be treated with respect, very important, they do not offer refferances, in their opinion is a case of whether they like or dislike you, neither the Placement school do not offer so your job basicallly is in vain as later you need those refferences, I would have disclose their answer but I would leave it for other time to understand this is real.

What a shamble of a company. I've responded to an advert Teaching assistant needed and these guys got back to me. Offering me Nationally recognized training: a course, with a guaranteed placement and a job at the end. The only catch was a high fee to pay for this course. Several 100's of £££. This was only said in 1-1 meeting and never mentioned on the phone. I've asked about funding, and the lady leading the interview (pleasant I must say) said, she'll ask and get back to me. She never did. And my two further emails were ignored, when I reminded her to see, what's the update. It seems to me, this is one of the quick whisk up training places, to offer places to train you and unless they can get you there and then to pay, then you can do one. Shame on you guys!!!!!!! Anyone else, stay away.

I joined SCCD in Dec 2016. The best thing about SCCD was my lecturer, Paul Colgrave. And the worst was the head of the program, Ms Alexis. Paul is an amazing teacher. He stood by my side throughout my journey and was always there when I needed him. He is the reason why I didn't give up and got my diploma. Around July 2017, almost 7 months into the course, and after completing units 18, 21, and almost 34, we were told that we have been doing it all wrong. Becuase Ms Alexis didn't bother to review our assignmnets before, which was her job. Anyway, this caused a huge issue for us and we felt very demotivated and discouraged to the level where some of the students left the course in the middle because it was becoming too much for them. But rest of us continued, thanks to Paul. The administration at SCCD is also very supportive. My placement coordinator at the time was Emily and she was amazing. She helped me find a school nearby and I learnt so much from my placement. Paul was approachable and accomodating during my placement and always made time to review my work place evidence. I took longer than expected to complete my portfolio because I had to take a break and had to reregister at one point because of my personal issues. But never had any issues in approaching him. On the other hand, Ms Alexis never disappointment in showing her rude behaviour. I always found her tune very demeaning and attitude very harsh. Still I don't regret joining SCCD because DET is a professional qualification and no place is perfect. What matters in the end is that I got my diploma and the person I had to deal with the most was an amazing teacher and mentor.
