I have to admit I don't get scared easily, but this felt like a total ripoff!

So we visited scaresville 2019 and it was absolutely brilliant. Best thing we had ever done, i couldn't praise it enough. The level of detail and effort to the rooms and actors make up and sets was exceptional. Fast forward a pandemic to this years 2022 and sadly it wasn't as good. Too many visitors which meant we had to wait at each room for the people in front to leave, so lots of waiting around during the experience. The experience rooms were not as detailed and too bright, and there wasn't as many actors either. Costumes basic, not much detail went in to make up and they used mainly masks. This years offering felt like a half ar*ed version of the 2019 set. Maybe I'm being too harsh comparing to previous years but I hope next year your back on the ball scareville!!!

Not great this year sadly....umderstaffed and empty rooms everywhere, used to be so much better, disappointing.

It was a great concept, but jump scares were predictable and not enough actors. Apart from that the setting was brilliant.

So we had to wait an hour beyond the time we booked for, which would’ve been less noticeable if they had stuff to do. They had stalls to buy drinks but that’s about it. No sort of entertainment so your just sat clock watching to go in and start the event which became very tedious after a while, especially as it was cold. An enjoyable walk through but it’s disappointing when you’re at the back of the group the whole time. We ended up missing on scares as these were done as soon as half of the group entered. The event itself seemed very short, only lasting about 30 minutes. The majority of scenes consist of clowns, I was experiencing a bit more of a variety - especially considering the price of the tickets! It didn’t really carry a spooky or eerie feeling, I was disappointed I didn’t feel scared throughout the event. There was one Marshall about the whole walkthrough, which after they make a big point of letting you know the rules and where to find assistance if need be, was a bit concerning. Overall it was fun, just a lot of room for improvement and compared to previous reviews this year seems to be the worst. If I go again I’ll make a point of switching our group up so my people can take the lead on guiding the team though, but I don’t plan on going again anytime soon. The event is also majorly overpriced for what it is, tickets should be £20pp max.

We joined another group on Sunday 23rd and one of the other party was basically terrified from the 1st room onwards! The first room was fantastic but sadly the scarer has to come out of character to get the young lady out! (Not a great start for us who were there for the thrill!) Anyways, we proceeded and despite the characters doing their absolute best it was a little mared by the VERY scared person in the other group. We then got near the end and the scarer were again fantastic but had to come out of character and call the first aider because the young lady fainted ! The staff were absolutely excellent with assisting her but it did slightly ruin our experience. Well done to the staff for dealing with this young lady in a professing swift manner, realising she had had a complete melt down. Word of advise.....don't go if you get scared it ruins it for others !

We went as a group of 9 varying in age range - two of us had been previously. Having read the reviews prior we weren't expecting it to be very good. It was brilliant, there was a few more gaps between scares than before, but we all agreed this helped us 'calm down' and the scares then even better. Great evening & well run - we never had any groups too close behind or in front, not sure how other people had such different experiences to us but we have all said will be returning.

Completely terrible. i'm a frequent returner, i do this every year. this year was absolutely terrible. hardly any scarers. £36 to walk round a field. was so not worth the money. you use to have abit of entertainment whilst waiting for your time slot. that's gone. they've tried to put so many slots on that you're constantly waiting for the people in front of you to move on so you can go through. they need to mix it up it's really not scary and when you was expecting to be scared no one was there. completely poor! i really wouldn't bother

Had such an amazing time! Even down the the beginning health & safety talk with nick, he done such a good job starting off the night! All the scarers were amazing!!! Such a brilliant team. Yes it was slightly different layout to previous times, but me & my group still had a brilliant time!
