Doesn’t deserve the bad reviews! We were extremely worried after we had booked as it is non-refundable and read the reviews afterward. They do charge your card for the refundable deposit but I received my money back after about a week. No bed bug issues, and bed was clean. Our room was upgraded and was a good size especially for the area. Perfect location in Shoreditch close to everything. There is a friendly hotel cat who hangs out in the hallways, if you are an animal lover you’ll love them.

Great location. There are good bits and less so good bits. The bed was really comfortable. I really liked having the kitchen. The bedroom was up some steep stairs and there was a beam across the room that you had to avoid. It was also very quiet so I would definitely stay here again. Location was convenient and the price was competitive. Unfortunately, I did leave with bites from what I presume were bed bugs. That's an immediate deal breaker. The room also smelled like caulk when I walked in (and confirmed by the caulk gun that was left behind by maintenance). I won't stay again and recommend those in search of a place to stay look elsewhere.
