Incompetent block management services. After firing a manager who was basically negligent, they released final accounts for calendar 2019 in summer 2022, and of course there was an outstanding charge for this period even though I only bought the apartment in 2020!

Currell (now trading as Savills) was the worst block management company I have had the misfortune to deal with, and made the lives of residents and leaseholders a misery. Urgent emails would go unanswered for months on end, a failing water system took two years to be fixed, block managers (who gave up/were fired every few months) were inept and ineffective, and they failed to respond to requests for service charge account summaries (a legal requirement). The only reason we did not take them to court was because we couldn't afford a lawyer to fight them with. Despite all of this, Elizabeth Hurry and all other management at Currell ignored every single complaint we made. A shameless, money-grabbing, enterprise with no respect for clients.

Elizabeth Hurry who runs Currell Block Management is the most gifted operator on Earth and has god-like status in her sector of the property market. You will need to go down on your knees to persuade her to take on your business and it will be eye-wateringly expensive. If you are successful in securing her services you will be incessantly brutalised for your failings as a client. But it will be worthwhile. Good luck.
