As a none drinker I will not be returning for lunch as options where VERY LIMITED! Not one alcohol free beer or wine to enjoy with my meal. Asked for a zombie without the alcohol and was told they could not do it, so I’ve been in fruit juice A pity as all other places in Brixton offer other options

Love Satay bar, ended up going 2x in one week for different occasions and both times, I was not disappointed! The 🍹 happy hour 5-7pm is brilliant & the alcohol is strong! The food is delicious and portion sizes are big. I'd definitely recommend you book before go, unless it's not during happy hour or is lunchtime. This restaurant has kept it's quality with food and cocktails over the years👌🏽👏🏼

Such a shame, I used to LOVE Satay Bar. It was my go-to 10-20 years ago but I recently went for the first time since 2016 and I was disappointed that the cocktails were too sweet and lacking alcohol and the food tasted very basic, not authentic or flavourful. No idea if it’s under different management but I felt I’d ruined the legacy and warm fuzzy memories I had of how iSatay Bar used to be.

Satay Bar is genuinely one of the best spots out there! There’s a set Lunch Menu which is served between Mon-Fri (1-5) where you can choose a certain meal alongside rum/fruit punch for just £10. Happy Hour is 5-8 everyday and the drinks are out of this world. They’re made perfectly and not watered down like other establishments. The food is crazy good! I love the duck, rice and vegetables alongside the thai sweet chilli wings. The deserts are so enjoyable that it’s just a pleasant experience all around. Staff are always friendly including the security on the door. Music is usually played so it’s always a vibe. Definitely check it out if you want to try something new. 10/10!
