We worked with Clift Joinery to replace 8 windows in a conservation area. They were helpful from beginning (planning permission and design) to end (installation and touch up paint work). A mistake resulted in us needing to redo some of the windows, but Clift took immediate responsibility to fix the issues and were very nice and professional about it! Hiccups happen. What sets companies apart is how they handle them. We really appreciated how above board they were in communicating about the problems and how quick they were to set about fixing them. We are delighted with our fabulous orange sash windows. They have transformed our house, from both inside and out. Because the frames are so elegant, there is much more light coming in compared to the previous windows (which had started to fall apart). Brett, Dorian and the team are a really great bunch of people. We felt well looked after from start to finish. A couple of hitches along the way were dealt with very well: indeed Brett gave us two bottles of our favourite whisky as an apology. What's not to like? More importantly, when the windows were installed, Dorian and his team were so efficient and quiet and hard-working, the job was done in 3 days, during which time I carried on with my own work with very little disturbance because they made hardly any noise at all. We would definitely recommend Clift Joinery to anyone looking for beautiful double-glazed sashes to be installed by a very friendly and hard-working group of people. Thank you all for your hard work. We really appreciate it.
