First time in yrs I've had to call the Dr's, was a bit apprehensive because unless you've been living under a rock then you know the NHS is struggling...... 10 minutes on hold before I spoke to someone who took my details. 10 minutes later had a call off someone else who had a 5 minute chat with me, at the end of it I had antibiotics waiting at the pharmacy. Couldn't fault the service

Incredibly rude and aggressive staff on the telephone. I phoned asking for a prescription to be sent to a pharmacy as I had run out of medication while travelling, I was told I was disorganised and then they continued: “If you stop wasting my time arguing…” while I was calmly explaining the situation. The lady on the phone constantly spoke over me and made no effort to resolve the situation at all. I have raised this issue with the ombudsman and NHS England.
