I recently moved surgery to Old Kent Road practice as it was near to my home. I called them 13 times and none picked up the phone and I went to emergency 3 times. I did not have this problem here and will register back with Sandmere who deserve an award.

One of the best GP I have ever had. There is an issue with the phone line sometimes but I was explained by the GP staff how it works, and it is sometimes better to hang up and call again. Recently if I have an emergency I go to the GP and most of the time I am seen by the doctor same day. Staff is very helpful and always trying theirs best to help you with any requests. Recently doctors has change and they were knowable. I managed to finally get to the bottom of my long term condition thanks to the Dr. Harrar

Update on 02.03.23 The Practice Manager called me the next day on 02.07.21 to apologise after my initial complaint/review [*see below]. I have used the telephone line on 2 further occasions since then and the wait was within 20 minutes, so there is improvement. I have remained on the Practice list because my doctor is kind and helpful. *It's unacceptable to be kept in a queue on the phone for 2 hours 19 minutes, from position number 10 to number 1, waiting in turn to speak to Receptionist. I hope they improve quickly on this. July 1st, 2021

hello my name is Muna and I would like to thank you for taking my MOM to the HOSPITAL she had a heart problem and when she went to the gp the 23 January 2023 and then went she went to the gp and she was very sick and they called emergency and there was a strike and thank you my gp for take my mommy to the HOSPITAL and they saved my mommy’s life and I’m writing this from 9 years old thank you my gp 👍

Sandmere is my local GP. The staff at the reception is very polite always picking up phone immediately and nearly always able to book same-day appointment for you which is really fantastic. Sometimes they are fully booked and can offer next day appointments only but in case of an emergency they will do their best to squeeze patients in so they can meet a doctor immediately. Doctors are very helpful, caring, and attentive too. The practice itself is spacious, modern and clean. Overall, I've had a really good experience so far and I'm happy to be Sandmere's patient.
