Although its been a few weeks and It briefly slipped my mind, I feel our encounter with this shop was important enough to write a review on. We visted the shop after my partners mum had seen a wax melt holder (if that is what you call them). The shop in all fairness is well laid out and presents itself well. However the same can not be said for the lady we dealt with on the counter, My partner asked where she could get an item that was out on display, instead of assisting, she just gestured in a general area, which isn't the problem as such as we could see it was busy. My partner went to find the item in a corner and it wasn't obvious what was in the plain white box. So as most people would, she opened the lid (it was not sealed in anyway) to check its contents. Satisfied she had what she wanted, we went to the till. This is where the issue happened. Instead of just been polite, putting the item through and going about the day, My partner was lectured about her opening the box to check the contents, saying if it was broken she would have been held responsible, if she was in retail she would know (She actually is an Area merchendiser for a up-market shop), she should have asked for help ect, only 2 minutes after she asked for help. I would have usually said something at this point but been we had traveled to this shop in particular for a birthday present, I did not want to cause a fuss and left with my partner. If you have 5 minutes to watch my partner struggle finding the poorly marked item you vaugly pointed towards and then 5 more minutes to lecture us, it probably would have been easier just to help. It is a shame as the shop obviously usually gets positive reviews, I hope this was an isolated incident and the lady on the counter takes this review as a bit of a customer relations lesson.

A long-time friend shared this shop with me, and while I can only order online at this time, I absolutely loved what I got. Things were packaged so well, with such care and soul put into almost every aspect it was a truly special experience. But the amazingness of this shop did not stop there. To thank my friend for sharing the shop with me, and to help her get through a particularly difficult week, I sent her a care package. And truly they could not have done a better job. They packaged everything so beautifully and even included some gorgeous extras. Thank you so much for making my friend feel special during hard times. I truly hope your business is blessed in every way possible as your products and ethos are second to none and I can’t wait to spoil all my friends with more lovely items.
