I purchased, directly from their website, 2 'Artisan' style Steak Knives in Cherry Walnut as a Christmas present and used for the first time last night. What a delight it was to use such a well balanced steak knife that cut through steak as if it were butter. The design is very attractive and although I thought they were a bit on the pricey side, they are worth every penny. Don't be temped to purchase cheaper knives that are available from well known online sites, they will never be as good as those supplied by Samuel Staniforth Ltd . Will certainly be back for more!

There are so many knife brands on the market and yet Sheffield barely gets a mention. The craftsmanship is nothing short of beautiful. A pleasure to use every time I pull one out of the block. Great personal service too. I called to amend my order and the owner picked up who could not have been more friendly and helpful. Wonderful stuff. Highly recommend.
