It's never too late to play Piano!! Being an old Veteran of 72, I approached Sam in the latter half of 2021 to see if he was willing to take on someone like me and teach me from scratch how to play the piano. Not without some musical ability ( yes I played the Bagpipes and have appeared in the Edinburgh Tattoo), I wanted to develop my love of music on a new instrument while keeping my fingers nimble and opening new neural pathways in my brain to ward off illnesses like dementia or whatever. Sam is brilliant! He accepted the challenge! I asked him to treat me as a young person and start from the beginning. Sam's attention to detail and insistence on playing correctly is now starting to pay dividends and while I'm not ready for Grade 1 exam yet, I'm learning a new skill in my retirement - and enjoying it! Sam is thoughtful, thorough, flexible in his approach and always has a smile on his face - not to mention the fact he plays the Piano beautifully! At my age, exam Grades are not important to me but if in five or six years time, I can play the Piano competently and well, I know I will have been taught by one of the best Tutors in the Midlands Area. Well-done Sam and thank you so far.

Samuel is a brilliant piano tutor. My 13 year old has been having lessons with him in the last 10 months and she has passed her Grade 6 piano exam with a score of 86% (Merit). Samuel is highly professional - he is punctual, he is knowledgeable, he makes thorough notes during the lesson to educate and provide my child feedback and tips to improve. He even gives me a summary at the end of each lesson of my child's progress and sets goals for the following lesson. He is a friendly and talented tutor who makes my child feel at ease. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Samuel is a fabulous piano teacher. He helped my 9 years old on his musical learning, and my son has improved quite a lot since he began his lessons with him. Samuel, not only provides a great quality lessons, he also spends time after each lesson to give me feedback about what has my son has learned . Also, he always sends me some notes by email, for my son to focus on. This helped my son to pass the exam and achieve distinction in grade one, last week. We are thankful for Samuel for his hard work, and my son enjoys his lessons with him.

Samuel is a great teacher, he is very thorough with techniques and details in a piece, which helped my Son achieve a grade 4 distinction. Even though, lockdown has stopped us from in person lessons, his online lessons are equally as good, as he maintains his standards from his in person lessons. Very clear lesson plans and is capable of answering any questions you may have. I would highly recommend him.
