What is your experience working with local building codes and regulations?

We have extensive experience working with local building codes and regulations. Our team of architects are well-versed in the requirements and restrictions of the Manchester area, and we ensure that all of our projects meet or exceed these standards. We also stay up-to-date with any changes or updates to regulations to ensure compliance.

How do you approach budget and cost management for a project?

We approach budget and cost management for a project with careful planning and attention to detail. Our team works closely with our clients to establish a budget for the project and identify any potential cost-saving measures. We also have a dedicated project manager who oversees the budget throughout the project to ensure that we stay on track and within budget.

How do you support and promote local artists?

As architects, we don't directly promote local artists, but we do strive to create spaces that are conducive to showcasing art. We work with our clients to incorporate features such as gallery spaces, exhibition walls, and lighting that can highlight local artwork. We also collaborate with local artists and art organizations to ensure that their needs are met when designing a space.

Can you provide examples of successful collaborations with other arts organizations?

Yes, we have had several successful collaborations with other arts organizations in the past. For example, we worked with a local museum to design an exhibit space that could house a variety of art and artifacts. We also worked with a theater company to design a new performance space that could accommodate their unique needs. These collaborations allowed us to create spaces that were both functional and beautiful.

How do you measure the impact of your programs on the community?

We measure the impact of our programs on the community through a variety of metrics, including attendance numbers, feedback from visitors, and community engagement. We also track the success of our projects over time to see how they continue to benefit the community. Additionally, we stay connected with community organizations and leaders to ensure that our projects are meeting the needs of the community.

The classics wing of the building is absolutely stunning with its beautiful historic architecture. Very picturesque from across the Alan Gilbert square, and is one of the three beautiful buildings that surrounds it. Is slightly convoluted to navigate at first however.

A white, beautiful academic building which looks like a museum (from the inside and from the outside). There's a statue of Samuel Alexander in the middle of the hall. There are lots of classrooms and research offices in the building. A small on-campus cafe, Lime Cafe, sits on the lower ground floor of the building. It's a nice place for SALC students to gather around and discuss their schoolwork together.
