If it was possible to leave a 0 start review I would! Terrible service from Sam. Put a deposit down on a Ford Mondeo on the condition that it met all the mot and service requirements (inc. the cam belt). Needless to say the cam belt was due to be changed months before. Sam and Wilf would have been informed of this at the service but Sam refused to do anything about it. After chasing them (as they NEVER return calls) for days and being lied to by Sam we requested our money back. Manufacturer guidelines are there for a reason, in my view they are selling cars that are not fit for purpose just to make a quick profit. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I bought a Saab convertible off Sam about 3 months ago, but as I work away, I could not collect it straight away. Sam was really helpful, storing it for me until I returned and getting it MOTd and ready for collection when I eventually got round to picking it up. On driving away, the car ran really well and I was so excited I did not notice the petrol gauge was registering near empty. The car broke down on the eastern road, just outside Portsmouth. I phoned Sam and he was again really helpful and fully prepared to come out and recover the vehicle. If it could not be sorted he was willing to give me a different car. However, he could not believe it had broken down and patiently asked me what happened. I told him and he suggested it has possibly run out of fuel. I immediately realised my stupidity and on putting fuel in the car started and ran really well. I drove the car up to Lincolnshire and was really happy with it. For a 19 year old car, it is immaculate and I love old Saabs. Sam was really friendly and helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him. Storing the car for 3 months without charge is something that not all second hand dealers would do. Also when I initially saw the car, it was at the back of his small lot and he happily moved about 10 cars to allow me take it for a test drive. Sam runs a small, friendly, second hand car dealership. His vehicles are good value and frankly I cannot understand some of the reviews on here.

Rude customer service - AVOID!! Visited this car garage with my boyfriend after spotting a car on Auto Trader. On arrival we spotted numerous things wrong with the vehicle including ripped interior and damaged paintwork - all very dissapointing for the high asking price. We were greeted by an scruffy older man (assuming this to be the owner of the garage or manager) who was dressed as though he was working on a construction site. We proceeded to point out the faults of the vehicle, for him to reply very candidly ‘why are you looking at cars you can’t afford and are obviously here tyre kicking’. No mate, not tyre kicking, just not prepare to be ripped off by a unprofessional scruffy second hand car dealer.

POOR SERVICE VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL Put a deposit down for a car and due to my car crash I could no longer insure or buy the car so less than 24 hours after putting a deposit down, I rang up and asked for a refund as Sam said he understood my situation. He text me to confirm an agreed refund and had to chase everyday for 4 days asking if I was still getting my money back. Everyday he text back saying he would do it tonight and never did. He ended up blocking my number and lied to me!
