Unauthentic and bad. Sushi “20 selection” platter is outrageously unauthentic. Sushi rice is mushy. Fish incorrectly sliced. Roe is stinky. Takoyaki aren’t cooked inside. Plum wine is bad and diluted. I have been here 2 years ago, it was fine. I will not come back.

Dietary restrictions: Call them in advance and when you arrive tell them you require gluten free food. They will make sure everything you order is gluten free, even ensuring what you get in the mixed platter does not contain any unsafe pieces. They also don't treat you like you're an inconvenience and are very proud to be able to offer things like teriyaki and sushi to people with a gluten intolerance as they use gluten free soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. Only a small handful of items on the menu aren't suitable so you will have a vast choice here!

Not a big fan of Japanese cuisine but this place is okay. Tempura, sushi - all decent stuff.

Very good Japanese restaurant and good value for money. Perfect miso soup. Good house sake. I had a ribeeye teriyaki which was really nice. I would have used a less fatty cut though. We had a katsu chicken which was really good and light. I was a little diaspointed by the prawn tempura, which was a little too doughy. Very friendly and will definitely come again.
