Had the most amazing trip away thanks to Samco Campers.⭐️ Where can I start, Sam the owner is one of the most helpful, kind and thoughtful business owners I’ve ever had the pleasure to deal with. He could not do enough for us and really helped made our trip happen. Sam is the epitome of fantastic customer service. The campervan was stunning. A real VW California rather than a conversion- that gave me peace of mind that all the electrics and gas were perfectly safe. My husband and I hired a Volkswagen California Ocean T6.1 campervan from Samco campers for a 16 day tour of the West Coast of Scotland and also taking in the NC 500. The campervan was the perfect size for our trip which enabled us to go through the narrow mountain passes. From first making enquiries to hire a campervan we had great service from Sam we found him extremely helpful, smiling and professional, he explained fully how everything worked. The campervan was very well thought out it was really comfortable it had a two burner stove, a sink, fridge, all the crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. He also left W.U.L. dishcloths floor cloths, tea towels, coffee sachets and tea-bags to put us on, we thought this was a lovely touch. It had a diesel heater in it if it was cold at night. There was also two camping chairs and a table to sit outside on. We would highly recommend Samco Campers. Thanks Sam.

Just completed a 9 day uk tour in one of Sam’s campers which are top spec VW Californias, almost new, fully equipped and immaculate. Great opportunity to try before you buy and Sam is more than happy to advise and discuss all aspects. The service itself is superb, very reasonable considering the the quality of the vehicle and Sam is great regarding communications. Amazing experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

I found Samco campers on line and dropped Sam an inquiry. Within the hour I had a response by phone from Sam and made the booking. The process from start to finish was paperless and very efficient. On the day we arrived to collect the Ocean and met Sam and the office staff in person we were filled with confidence. The handover briefing was excellent, the vehicle was immaculate and very clean. During our trip we continued to be impressed by the attention to detail that had been put in to kitting the vehicle out. We had a great holiday and loved the Ocean, so much so we are ordering one.

When I was planning a short camper-van trip to Anglesey, I didn’t want to drive all the way from London, but happily I found Samco Campers, which is situated just north of Manchester within striking distance of the beautiful north Wales countryside. Sam, the owner and founder, picked me up at Piccadilly station, and we hit it off straight away. The vans he hires out are all made by Volkswagen as campers – no conversions here – but built to a high spec in the last year or so. This was a cosy, well-insulated home for four days. This was my fifth rental van in the last decade and it was easily the best. The standout feature was the bed, which provided a very comfortable resting place for the long October nights. There are neat features like the vertical fridge box, a central control panel for all the interior lighting, heating and sounds (connects seamlessly to Spotify on your mobile). It was presented to me like brand new: spotlessly clean and polished. Sam was very quick to respond to my queries from the road. On returning the van, I met Sam’s dad, who works to keep the small fleet in tip-top condition, and, being a man of my own age, we had a great natter as he drove me back to get the train home. I would definitely hire from Samco again, maybe for a trip to the Lake District next time, and would have no hesitation in recommending it as a five-star service.
