We wanted 4 inappropriate doors in our period cottage replaced with proper tongue and groove style doors. We contacted Sam having approached about 6 other firms who either never responded, or came round and were never heard from again. Sam came promptly, delivered quotes quickly and offered us a start date in a reasonable timescale. Nick and Mo came to fit the new doors, did a great job, dealt with our special fittings (quick shout-out for the Suffolk Latch Company!) took huge care over moving the various framing timbers to make them look perfect, and then cleaned up properly as well. We are already in train for our next job with the team, and can’t recommend them highly enough. Service: General carpentry & cabinetry services

We are delighted with the new fitted cupboards and shelves that Sam recently built for us. He’s been fantastic to deal with from start to finish. While discussing our requirements he was very open to all our suggestions and offered his recommendations to ensure the end result was just what we were after. While doing the work he was extremely respectful, being mindful of work from home meetings, offering to keep noise to a minimum when needed and did a marvellous job clearing up at the end of each day. Sam Bowditch Carpentry Team (Nick, Mo, Jack, David) recently installed our fabulous new kitchen - and they have done an amazing job! Old kitchen removed, floor removed and new laid, electrics, plumbing, plastering all expertly carried out by really nice guys. Professional, punctual, communicative and with a ‘can do’ approach - they made the whole process as stress free as possible. Our Howdens kitchen designer had expected lots of phone calls and queries re the plan (which wasn’t straightforward) but Sam took the plans home a couple of days prior to start and arrived on site totally ‘on it’ and took control of the whole process so we didn’t have to worry at all. Sam does a lot of ‘bespoke’ carpentry work, so to have him fit our kitchen was fantastic - and the result speaks for itself. Absolutely and whole heartedly recommend Sam Bowditch Carpentry.
