Having seeing a recent promotional advertisement regarding Salus Hall, I feel the need to express my experience whilst staying there. My experience at Salus Hall was far from pleasant. I feIt like it was totally unmanaged, relying on random nurses to keep the place going by just giving out drugs 4 times a day for a routine detox program. There was no counselling provided, no therapy given and no guidance from any professional staff during my stay, from which I gained nothing from it at all. It felt to me like just being in a prison. I felt isolated at most times of the day with no form of direction on what was going on with the day to day routine and what was expected of me. I paid £2500.00 for a week just to let a random nurse hand me a few detox tablets 4 times a day. I would personally avoid it like the plague. And In reflection, it did me more harm than good. I tried to voice my opinion which only fell on deaf ears. I felt this company exploits the disadvantaged at their time of need. Upon completing their detox treatment. I felt like they just thrown you a few tablets, sent you home with no aftercare or any information on future support. I feel that Salus group is a money making business that puts money over client’s needs. Since completing my time at Salus, I have heard from other Health Care providers that don’t recommend Salus as a reliable rehabilitation centre. So if you are struggling with any form of addiction, look for alternative roots in coping with your long rehabilitation needs. In my opinion this place will not help you in your long term recovery. This is my personal review of Salus, and only states my opinions and my personal experience whilst staying there. I honestly can say that I would not recommend them to anyone for any alcohol rehabilitation needs.

I attended Salus in October 2021 and stayed for two weeks. All the staff were fantastic, professional, hard working and dedicated. They helped me get off prescription pain medication which I’d been on for 13 years. It’s now been a year free of them for which I’m thrilled. I couldn’t have done it without their help. I’ll always be grateful.

The staff (medical and non medical) are all very professional. The care they all provide is second to none. It is a totally none judgemental environment. The rooms are maintained to a very high standard each with their own toilet and a TV. An update: Since my detox I have remained sober and have been in work for 6 months, at first it was a temporary contract but now I have a full time contract and a very well paid job, none of the would have been possible without your help, thank you!!

I am writing this review, as the Mum, of my son, who has just completed 12 weeks. I would personally like to thank, each and every one of you, that have cared and guided my son through his stay with you. My son speaks so highly and you all, and though it may sound silly, he is a little sad to leave. Without rehabilitation centres and caring, empathetic staff, like yourselves, I honestly do not know where my son would be right now. So thank you so very much.

Respected, heard, challenged are just a few words I can use to describe my stay at Withnell Hall. From the moment I entered detox to the day I completed, every aspect of my stay was thoroughly explained, any issue was promptly addressed and my recovery was purposefully and carefully guided by a committed team of staff and volunteers. My peers were wonderful as well! Thank you Jeanette and Max! Thank you EVERYONE!

Amazing place to be when in need. I stayed for 1 month due to addiction of Alcohol and cannabinoids. Which had been troubling me for over 20 years. I was well looked after by all members of staff! Today I feel like a new man. Anyone could benefit from this course due to the life skills I have learnt. My routine is so but better and it is a pleasure to wake up in the morning. Thankyou to everybody at Salus for all your help. You will be remembered. Choose life...Choose Salus. 👌🙂
