Terrible communication from the staff when we placed a food order from the app. We sat at the table which didn’t have a number on yet had a card with a number written so we used that. After a long time waiting we questioned where our food was to be told it hadn’t even been started to be cooked because they didn’t know it was our food. Why would the staff not see three orders of food and try and locate who placed the orders it’s just very poor communication and customer service. We won’t be returning.

Myself and my wife stayed in the utterly massive shambles suite, the room was clean, bathroom was fantastic and the bed was very comfy, we also had dinner, the food was brilliant and a great price, breakfast was included with the room price and was also great with a number of options, overall we had an amazing stay, the staff were excellent and we'll definitely be staying again when we next visit York
