My 3 year old autistic son absolutely loves the unstructured class and loves Jenna. Lots of variety each session we come to and lots of fun to be had! I can see there has been a negative review prior to mine but I can categorically say I struggle to believe what was written, Jenna is brilliant with all of the children and I have never seen otherwise.

Our kids loved going to the early years gym club at Salto. The staff are fantastic and make all the kids feel welcome. Little ones leave exhausted and happy every time. Each week a nice variety of challenges are layed out for them to try. The kids confidence both at the gym but also in general life and playgrounds came on leaps and bounds.

The children's gym class is absolutely atrocious. Jenna Barrett cannot and should not be allowed to teach children of that age. I have witnessed her get physically handsy with my 2 year old son and another even younger child, grabbing them and yanking things off of them where it is absolutely not her place to. I understand there are structured and unstructured classes but the degree to which Jenna Barrett gets overwhelmed, stressed out and snappy and even physical with 2 year old children makes it irrelevant in either type of class, let alone unprofessional and damaging to any child deemed a little too enthusiastic by her. Due to her inability to understand that a the gym might be a place of stimulation and excitement for such young children, my 2 year old son has been asked to leave the class permanently by Jenna Barrett because he was just a little too excited for her to be bothered with. There are other classes similar to this, and way better, so if you think Jenna Barrett might feel a little too overwhelmed by your child, please AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It’s not worth seeing your child cry over and feel bullied, not understanding what they’ve done wrong in a gym full of colourful, bouncy things (suprise!).
