We needed some gas for our boat so I telephoned ahead and the gentleman on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. On arriving he already had the gas ready and waiting for us. He couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. There's a nice little shop with lots of books for a donation to the Saltisford Canal Centre.

When we popped in here for a visit... everything screamed go away... private car park ...private residences.... lots of private notices... padlock on the pedestrian gates... not sure if that was to keep people out or people in... however it didn't seem inviting. Nothing of anything noteworthy to see... however they sure are happy for you to make donations.... yeah right ! Ask all those Private individuals to contribute after all its seems as if its for there benefit exclusively. J
