I started beginner's Salsa classes in September 2022 and I have really enjoyed my classes. I am someone who already has significant dance experience in another dance and I'm really impressed with the teaching at TLC Salsa classes, the emphasis is not just teaching patterns but also learning good dance technique, posture, footwork, dance etiquette and having fun. A unique facet of TLC Salsa classes is that there is an optional free coached practice session after the class so you ask for additional help there and go over things you might still be struggling with. The quality of the teaching and advice in the small coached practice sessions is on a par with expensive private one-on-one private lessons and is excellent. All the teachers are friendly and extremely helpful. In fact not just the teachers but other dancers there, including higher level dancers are all very kind and friendly. This friendly atmosphere keeps me coming back for more, my weekly Salsa classes are the highlight of my week. I'm still very much a newbie at Salsa but I'm enjoying my Salsa journey so much, thanks to Tracie and all her instructors.
