If you are ever in the unfortunate situation of dealing with a loss adjustor, please consider appointing a loss assessor of your own. Our family experienced an incredibly traumatic event which resulted in the death of a very close family member in a fire. We had lots of trouble with the insurance company not answering our queries and trying to manipulate us into accepting a low pay out, despite our relative having a premium policy.We found Jeremy via a google search, and liked what we read. We had an initial call where Jeremy spent about an hour with us listening to our situation and advising on the best way of approaching the 3 separate elements of the claim. We instructed him to work on our behalf and immediately we felt relief from the relentlessness of the situation. Jeremy was tough in his negotiations with the insurance company and at all times gave us the options we had and we could then choose what to do. We were paid out more than the agent for the insurance company initially indicated. If you are ever in the unfortunate situation of dealing with a loss adjustor, please consider appointing a loss assessor of your own. Yes you have to pay, but it is so worth it. I'd agree with a previous review that Jeremy was a rottweiler, but great towards us! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jeremy to anyone in need of this service.

I got in contact with Salmon Assessors after months of delaying tactics by the insurance company dealing with my claim. If you are considering using a Loss Assessor but have any reservations about fees, I can say from experience that those reservations will be totally unfounded. For some context on this, Jeremy negotiated a settlement that was £30k higher than the maximum figure the loss adjustor had stated on one part of my claim. Over 3 times more than the suggested ‘maximum’ shows you how much insurers will try to carve out of what is rightfully yours, and at times of great stress when people may be more inclined to roll over just to get things done. In addition to this there are a few loose ends to tie up that aren’t in any way related to the insurance claim. Jeremy has been excellent in providing insight and guidance on how to handle these loose ends. He didn’t need to do this, and it is another example of how great Salmon's are to work with. This is the way things should be done. Please don’t be fooled by a loss adjustor saying they are on your side, they absolutely are not as they are appointed by the insurers. It’s easy enough to calculate how much Salmons have helped maximise my claim, but it is not possible to put a value on the stress that they took away from me in the toughest of times. Highly recommended and I would have no hesitation in contacting Jeremy, Jeff and the team again in future.
