Sally Narrowboats was a fantastic rental agency for our 4-night holiday on the Kennet and Avon canal. We rented Sacha, their 68+ foot narrowboat, and it was in very good working order. It comfortably accommodated our party of 5 with no high/low bunking required. Their pre-briefing (special thanks to Alex) was very thorough, and their support via phone was very helpful when needed. One small note: be advised that any of the radiator-heated boats (like Sacha) will be unable to be heated overnight due to the canal noise curfew from 8:00pm to 8:00am, and the heater requires the engine running. Bottom line: in cold weather, just rent a wood-burning stove heated boat. Otherwise, a perfect vacation.

We had a great family weekend enjoyed by all three generations. Our culinary efforts were challenged by the restricted nature of the kitchen but we did manage a roast chicken dinner so can't complain. Despite the mixed weather the wildlife was out and about and the fishermen amongst us had a good haul.

Terrible. This company gave our boat away to another customer despite us having paid for it weeks beforehand. Tried to offer us a different boat which was totally unsuitable for my husband who is disabled.had to cancel a weeks holiday the day before we were due to go, at huge financial loss to us as a family. Would never EVER use this company again. Just awful.
