Something for every level of experience. Good areas for back cast and overgrown areas for stalking. All fish I have caught on 6 or so visits have fought hard and been in perfect condition. If you do go, please look after this place for others to enjoy. Now a member for 2023 and very pleased with the early fishing.

Two clear amazing lakes, well stocked, from 1-1/2 lb upwards, great dry fly fishing, one of the most peaceful tranquil fisherys, with a abundance of wildlife , each of the lake's have islands, with easy access via footbridges, well kept grass footpaths and easy room for your back cast on 80% of both lakes, The owner is a very helpful and friendly, the 2 lakes are around 300 metres apart with a grass path joining them, if you do have mobility issues, a 3 minute drive back to the top lane turn right and follow to the end, turn right and follow to the end were you have another car park and a open front lodge, hope this helps you, I have fish these lakes several times and would thoroughly recommend them, just check the web site, as the warm weather like every other fishery effect the fishing, and fishermen, tight lines 🎣

I have had the pleasure to fish these 2 stunning lakes on several occasions the past few years, and could honestly say you will not be disappointed, with well maintained banks, and a good selection of well placed casting jettys giving every chance for all levels of casting skills, the lakes are well stocked regularly, and the fish are of superb quality, the waters are normally very clear, both lakes have a island easily accessible by small foot bridges, with a 4 minute walk between each lake, the owner has always made us very welcome, many thanks,

Overhead a conversation with a would be customer and can what I can gather the owner who was taking money. I heard the owner bellow " WHO ARE YOU!?!" No good morning or can I help etc. Then quiz him why he's only looking not fishing, I heard the guy explain he had never been here before and he said a guy fishing was telling him about the lake and that he should look at the smaller lake as well, only to again be shouted at "HE DOESN'T WORK HERE!" Well maybe he should because this guys attitude stank, if this is how you treat new people to your lake I think you need to re adjust your approach. Very disappointed to witness and because of this guys attitude I won't be back or be recommending. What a shame
