The nastiest receptionists that have zero compassion or patience for their patients. I could physically hear the other staff in the background laughing at how nasty the woman who answered the phone was being to me. You would like to think the staff would want to help you considering the importance of their role.

Though been referred for X ray on neck & given pain killer I cannot take during the day! . After doing on line appt. Form 24/4/23 giving details of my issue & attaching a letter of my 30 yrs. Of back problems, which seem to have escalated to neck. I explained the searing pain in my collar bone and subsequent pain in upper spine & muscle weakness. I received a response saying I could have appt. On 2/5/23. After speaking with sensible and proactive receptionist named Leah & explaining. My appt. Brought to today. Though I do think it might be re. the unaddressed and un diagnosed back issues. I went to docs. & Explained, I also added that when I tilted back I felt heavy in my back and chest when tried to get up & muscle weakness and Given these symptoms can also indicate heat attacks etc. I thought due to them not doing face to face appointments or my bloods, or these m.o.t nurse sessions for yrs. I may have got a general check up heart, blood pressure etc. But did not. I have also been referred to the multiple skeletal dept. I explained that the last time I went there, I was put on circuit training even though au have not received diagnosis from anyone qualified in backs that was my treatment & had find the money to go to Chiropractor. The inflammation in my back was so bad at this alleged 'treatment', he could not get to the site of the problem to work on it. I feel bad for off loading but will not get paid at work for this week and . I am terrified of going back to physio after my shocking experience & then being discharged. People who have back pain (not ache) will probably know that you CAN get pain in one area due to something being wrong in another. X-raying my spine is not going to address the S.I joint issue probably causing the probs. The G.P says I have to go through this process again. They CAN refer me to a qualified back doctor who will know this but won't. This is a fact as I have checked if I can be referred by a g.p. P.s. Chiroprator: Kyophosis, Lordosis, si joint sticks to another bone that makes up my hip this causes inflammation & muscle spasms in back (physio would have seen this if qualified I assume) blocks the signals to sciatic nerve so refers it through hips and one leg is longer than the other. Also have Arthritis and oestrphytes in lower spine from early 30's. Physio: look at my back, no diagnosis fed back to me and treatment was to be put on circuit training course with stuck bones and inflammation then discharged. I am concerned for my physical future as standing is an issue and v painful. My loss of income etc. No empathy or concern was shown. V clinical. Do not feel like a patient. I rarely contact the g.p. despite people saying I should as it depresses me and makes me feel like all that I suffer with is trivial.

The doctors are amazing at this practice however the shocking aggressive attitude from the Reception Manager fails to amaze me. I have encountered several incidents whereby certain receptionists are unhelpful and extremely rude over the phone. I have spoken with the Reception Manager and it’s very apparent she leads a very bad example on how to speak with patients. Staff members are there to reassure patients and assist them with their medical needs instead they are extremely confrontational and hostile. I have been given wrong prescriptions on numerous of occasions or been advised my prescription is ready for collection at the Pharmacy when infact it hasn’t even been processed by the Doctor. If you dare to challenge their behaviour they act very defensive and will not take any ownership.
