Absolutely shocking service, been with them for about a year now. Constantly giving excuses on why payment has not been sent to my bank plus money never hardly goes in on the day or time they say. Having to call constantly just to get my money is pathetic. I'm glad I don't rely on CB weekly but if other people do then definitely don't use SCU as after a while of being with them they stop caring about giving a good service.

You get No Response. I know people who sent their application weeks ago. Nothing. Wow. I didn't know an organisation could be this rude. So if people were struggling and this was a last resort before stepping into dangerous territory, they would be forced into, not because you got a no, but because you were ignored. Shame on you. These are suppose to be community based organisations as well. Horrid people. Horrid service. The worst.

Credit unions are great, much better than banks. Seeing some rubbish negative comments for Salford CU. If you can’t afford a loan they won’t give you one, as unfortunate as that is. If you have a loan it may be agreed against savings and that’s why you can’t access savings. Everything is explained to you when you apply. Member for 7+ years.

If you are on low income and benefits do not bother as they will tell you they will not give you even the smallest loan. So they forced people into loan sharks
