Excessive amounts of trucks destroying the local neighbourhood through vibration, litter flying from tops of trucks all along the route they use from the motorway to the mill, much of it falling on unsuspecting Road users and onto the floor of the Carrington village. Wind blows rubbish out of premises onto the area outside the mill and attracts a lot of pests, always a foul smell around the area too. Inside is even worse, (up to 8 inches in some areas) dust everywhere which workers are forced to clean with lack of suitable PPE provided, they were offered used items including used dust masks and gloves; essential cleaning supplies purchased by employees because cleaning staff never replenished stock once used up. Changing facilities for the staff are very poor and inadequate. One worker cleaned the fridges and microwaves because they were so foul, they shouldn't have to do that when the compay hire a cleaner. Very shoddy company with the most backwards bending safety regulations I've ever had the misfortune to comply with. Most of the Staff working there are friendly though, I feel sorry for them as this is destroying their health and they are treated like dirt by management. They should be ashamed; already had 1 death on site, if they carry on this way there will certainly be more. How this place is still open I'll never know.
