We booked a twelve-visit package with home birth for the birth of our first daughter. Although home birth in the end was not possible due to medical reasons, Nyree and Odette made the journey significantly easier, providing us the information and reassurance we needed at each stage, and enabling us to relax and live fully the magical moment of our daughter's birth. Having the antenatal and postnatal visits at home was also extremely convenient, particularly when my belly was at its biggest, and later when I was recovering from a CS. Their hands-on help and feedback in the first few days after birth was crucial in avoiding breastfeeding problems, which we are really thankful for.

I could write an essay about how thankful I am for Nyree and Odette. I was 35 weeks pregnant when I moved from Germany to the UK to finally be with my husband who found these wonderful two ladies to support us since my insurance didn’t cover any NHS midwifery. BUT I would choose them even if my insurance would cover it because it was worth every single penny!!!! They are both walking encyclopedias but they don’t drown you in information. Nyree and Odette both took their time to get to know both me and my husband and there were some appointments where we would all just talk about possible worries, thoughts and expectations. Their reaffirmation meant everything to us because it made us calm and confident about everything we did which is one of the main reasons why we had such a great birth experience. Not having my family and friends here during such a special time was hard sometimes but Nyree and Odette gave me the support I needed and more! Nyree & Odette, thank you for being you!! I can’t put enough stars at how grateful we were to discover Sage Femme during my pregnancy. Both the ante and post natal care (we birthed in hospital) from the team was extraordinary. Nyree and Odette come with decades of experience not only on pregnancy and birth, but also in navigating the birth process through NHS and generally in the UK. That, as newer UK arrivals, was so helpful. Their care was incredible personable and the continuity and their availability whenever we needed was top notch.

We worked with Sage Femme in July 2019-April 2020 for my first pregnancy and birth of my daughter. I could not recommend Nyree and Odette more highly. They kept a very anxious mind at ease throughout the pregnancy and two-weeks past dates. Although my birth plans changed, the knowledge and support they gave (at all twist and turns) was invaluable. They made what could have been a stressful experience, incredibly positive for both my husband and I. Despite overlapping with the beginning of Covid they made it seem like nothing had changed and did everything to ensure it was safe for us and them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for support in pregnancy, all types of birth and post-natal care (a very long overdue review!)

My husband and I contacted Sage femme just after our baby daughter was born last July. Nyree's support was just incredible and it helped us going through the difficult first few weeks as new parents. I particularly valued the time she would spent with us at home, her guidance and care made such a difference. I also found the 24/7 support on WhatsApp an amazing resource to have, as NHS support services are very limited in the evenings and nights. We are so glad we found Nyree and we would definitely recommend Sage Femme to anyone!

Nyree and Odette truly are my guardian angels. My baby was born in June 2020 at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. Having had a previous traumatic birth I was adamant that I wanted a home birth and Nyree supported me in my choice where the NHS were only able to see the risks and not the benefits. Pregnancy was an anxious time for me and having Nyree and Odette on hand was invaluable for my mental health. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Both Nyree and Odette are very experienced and their expertise is second to none. Appointments were a mixture of online and face to face at times that were convenient for me. My labour at home was very fast but thanks to their reassuring presence everything went smoothly. They even brought me tea and toast in bed and put a load of washing on! I was extremely thankful for their help postnatally, they agreed to keep me under their care a little longer than planned because it was in the best interests of me and my baby. I will be forever grateful for their nurturing care and for their assistance in bringing baby Hugo safely into the world. Thank you once again Sage Femme.

We booked Nyree and Odette for six visits after my elective cesarean in May 2021 and they were absolutely life saving! The advice covered breastfeeding, my recovery, baby care and much more and was always tailored to our specific needs (for example feeding positions suitable for after cesarean) and preferences. Me and my husband also valued the emotional support that Nyree and Odette provided during those overwhelming first days with a newborn in a time when friends and family weren’t able to visit us. We were looking forward to each visit and they helped us so much to transition into our new role as parents. We highly recommend Sage femme to all new parents!
