Just finished my A levels here and I can safely say that this school has gone from something that was pretty outstanding to nothing short of a disaster in just a few years. Had to deal with consistently absent and apathetic teachers and staff throughout my sixth form career. Spoke to a lot of my mates as well, and from what I've heard I was not the only person having to deal with these sorts of problems. Formally complaining to members of staff proved useless, so myself and many others were forced to deal with this issue by ourselves. Luckily I work independently fairly well, but I'm sure this is not the case for many others. I also saw many of my fellow students get expelled for low attendance and academic achievement despite this. Fortunately however, I studied Film and Media at this school and can safely say that this specific department is great. If only the rest of the school was the same.

Was a sixth form student here and was not happy with the education I got. Achieved decent A levels, but had to power through consistently absent teachers, poor teaching quality (these are especially true amongst the Sociology department) and frankly rude staff. The list honestly goes on. The school boasts outstanding sixth form grades, although that's expected when you expel many of your students simply because they aren't naturally academic. Wouldn't recommend at all.
