Beware of this company. Initial survey concluded "no scaffold" needed for in Installation to be carried out, fitters come out to install, windows are short on measurements, surveyor resent to double check measurements, all checks out, installation goes ahead, scaffolding is needed, job on hold, scaffolding goes up, it's been up for over a month, job still unfinished... I have been chasing and chasing, call after call after call, sick to my stomach, paying £3,500 for 4 windows and this is the service you get. Over priced, really poor customer service, no after care, false promises...save yourself the headache.

Terrible service and aftercare. Had a doors fitted front and back not installed properly and was letting draft through. First notice in November 2020 kept saying they will order new thresholds and keep cancelling my appointment as fitter says that they haven't ordered it. 3 times this has happened. Will be taking further action as it taken 7 months to rectify and not getting another appointment till end of June where the same will happen again. NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR MONEY. Support a local supplier.

When my disabled partner left hospital I contacted safestyle to replace my front door for a wheelchair accessable door. The sales team came round within an hour of phoning them and gave me a quote for replacing the door. The salesman explained that the type of door I need is a low threshold and explained that the quote he gave me could only be held for that day and he was giving me the best deal he could. Being vulnerable after the ordeal my partner had gone through and feeling under pressure to sign to get this deal I agreed. They sent a surveyor round to check the hight of door handle and letter box or so I was told, I left my partner to deal with this feeling confident that safestyle was a reputable company. The surveyor decided to change the low threshold which I'm now told is not appropriate and should have been a strip to a standard threshold and then had my partner who is 3/4 blind to sign for it. When I phoned to complain about it I found it impossible to speak to anyone in a position of responsibility and further more was told that they had done nothing wrong and it was all my partners fault for signing. As a result of using safestyle I overpaid for a door that has now left my partner unable to get out of the house unaided which has obvious safty implications. I wish I had never heard of this company and certainly will never use them again.

Absolute appalling service. Ordered patio doors from to be fitted, firstly they gave me a date one month in advance, I made all arrangements from my end and the fitter can on the day but left without doing the work stating the work wasn't assigned in advance hence can't do that day. They can back the next day but didn't complete the full job and promised someone will come and complete it the next working day whixh will.be Monday. No one contacted me on Monday and after numerous chases no response or solution. When I called their number, the sales representative said the lines are only open for quotation and hung up. Absolutely unprofessional.

Buying windows and doors from Safestyle has single handedly been the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. When it comes to arranging a visit and a quote, you can't fault them. Straight round, pick the windows and doors you want and then wait for them to install. This was where the start of what has been a miserable three months begins... Because of Covid, they sent out fitters who didn't know how to fit windows, or remove windows, or remove doors - so they used crowbars and claw hammers to remove a wooden door frame and smashed up all the plaster around it which they then filled in with silicon and told me it would be alright if I painted it. They hid their craftsmanship behind thick PVC surrounds which look ridiculous. Where the frame didn't meet the skirting board, they just left it and filled the hole in with clear silicon. On the outside, they smeared two long brown stains of silicon where they joined the door to the brick and told me this was a signature look. On the inside, they drilled through my living room wall pushing two bricks out and blowing the plaster to squeeze the door frame into place. In the kitchen, they cut round the blind bracket and then filled it in with silicon. I can't remove the blind bracket. They also fitted the window at an 8 degree tilt, meaning it doesn't close properly. They also managed to damage a granite worktop in the kitchen, suspected from all of the fine cutting they did rather than just come and get me and tell me the new frame was bigger than the old one and could we move the blind. And the mess they left was outrageous. Silicon EVERYWHERE, dirty doors and windows and a door that doesn't sit in the frame, has the wrong handle and has to be tightened every other week as the handle wobbles. You'd think they'd be keen to get this mess sorted out, after all, they're the number one glazing windows and doors firm or some marketing buzz words. Well I'm twenty calls in now and each call is the same. I'm even friends now with some of the post-install care team we've spoken that much. When this eventually gets sorted out, I think I'll miss out daily chats where we just repeat the same things we said previously, like a PVC version of the film Groundhog Day. So if you want to run the risk that they'll send out barely trained fitters to fit a product in your house, that they might drill into your wall right behind the sofa, that they'll ruin a worktop that had been down 3 days or that they'll do absolutely nothing about it afterwards, give them a go. I reckon the damage they caused in just over four hours was about £4000 - more than double what the doors and windows cost. From my perspective, I just wish I had chosen someone else. They're not following their own complaints charter so please, please be careful before you commit, there is every chance you won't have a problem and everything will be fine, but I'm in PVC purgatory and there doesn't seem to be a way out. I'll keep this review updated with my progress as I pursue this issue with them.
