    Good communication from the start with courteous staff, check in at the unit was easy, as was the process of vacating. The units themselves are in very good condition, and the distance from the unit to the loading bay is short, and so it is really convenient. All in all it was a good experience for the 3 months I was a customer.

    I don't have a single negative thing to say about Safestore, signing up was so easy and the team are knowledgeable and friendly, they made my already stressful move a lot easier (and cheaper!) by assisting me with the perfect sized unit. Definitely consider them if they are one of your options.

    Left a 5* review a couple of weeks ago that im now updating to this one. Needed an additional smaller unit just a couple of weeks after hiring a 175 sq ft one as a new customer (and my son also hired a unit for himself) to be told I'd have to pay full price as I'm no longer regarded as a new customer, even 2 weeks later. No discounts offered for additional units; didn't even try to reduce the price. If it wasn't for the hassle I'd be moving to Big Yellow as they've just given my daughter a substantial discount on her second unit. Plus, BY have better access times. Such a shame as the chap that originally checked us in was really helpful -5* for him still. Won't be coming back once we've moved out.

    Highly recommended storage facility. Excellent service and communication from Darren at all stages of booking the unit. Everything was explained in great detail and all questions answered satisfactorily. On visiting for the first time, we were showed our proposed unit to ensure we were happy with the size and location within the building. We were also shown how to use the fob on the gate and the main door by Kevin on the following day when we moved our first car load to the unit, and the lifts, toilets and trolleys were pointed out to us along with being reminded of the opening/access times. There is a full range of packing boxes, bubble wrap, acid- free tissue paper etc that can be purchased there along with Safe Store hardened teel padlocks (both combination and key), tape, marker pens etc. Easy to access and very close to van hire company. Very happy customer.
