Absolutely amazing accommodation and experience, we stopped in the Giraffe section with non-stop action from them….. definitely worth booking for a special occasion. Safari Park was okay although it seems to be short on a few animals and it seems that the lodges are expanding even further with new animals themes

Stunning lodges. Stayed in the giraffe 🦒 one and you have perfect clear view of lots of giraffes! So clean, so fresh still feeling brand new. The quality of the lodges is very very good! Brand new high chair was there also crib came. Food was in the fridge for when we arrived. Stroganoff needs beef though! Wasn’t keen on that. The rest was lovely. Bread for the soup would be nice. Or even giving the lodge a mini loaf or rolls with the milk is a nice and very cheap gesture. Park was great fun, the enclosures for the animals are excellent we felt. I’m normally the worst for the way animals are treated and can safely say this place clearly treats the animals perfectly. I wouldn’t take on board the other reviews. We did walk past the tiger one though and couldn’t see any tigers. Most of the naff reviews relate to the tigers. Book other lodges and you’ll be happy, certainly the giraffes! Tons of friends now want to book and we will be back!

We had the best time! I was a little worried as I had read that the cheetahs spent most of their time near one of the lodges and realised that wasn’t the one we were in, we still saw a lot of them and they were fed near our lodge too as the keepers are obviously aware of this. Everyone we met was very helpful. I would love to go back, an amazing experience

This break was booked on release date as a special trip for my birthday and with it being the school holidays - also a very special trip for our children. Quite confusing on arrival if you've never been before, which we hadn't. We went through an unattended barrier and told were to park in a specific place which was quite confusing. After eventually working out where to park, we went to the safari lodge reception. We were told our lodge would be ready at 14:45pm. We had arranged to go on a guided safari tour at 12pm - our guide Martin was excellent and the only positive thing I can say about West Midlands Safari Park. We went back to the lodge reception for check in time and were taken to our lodge. The girl did state on arrival in the lodge "They are wild animals so you may not see them much," they are wild yet in captivity! The lodge itself was lovely but fairly new as it should be. However, for what you pay you basically don't get a lot at all. There should be a welcome pack, etc. You get some milk and basic drink sachets and told if you want more to ring. After spending the afternoon waiting for the tigers to appear, they never did! I even rang to ask "Are they even in the enclosure?" Only to be told yet again they're wild animals. And yes they are, they'll go where they want to go and may stop inside. The heating in the lodge also wasn't working, so we had to call again. A lady came out and did sort it, but said it may take an hour to fully come on so brought blankets as well! I did ask her about the tigers again and she stated "I've not seen them in three weeks," Really? To a customer that's spent £1365.00! The tigers never appeared for the first day, leaving us feeling extremely upset. We woke to find still no tigers. One then did appear for a few brief minutes and that was it. We went up to the viewing points numerous times throughout our stay and didn't see them either. The food is appalling for the price you pay. The morning of departure we had cleaners just walk in on us and felt like they wanted us out - no apology either. Having complained on our return West Midlands Safari Park guest relations are appalling to deal with. Cannot get through on phone, weeks to answer emails and basically, they have your money and don't want to know. I will definitely not be returning our recommending. You should be ashamed of yourselves! Be warned!

Don't know where to start with this but Rip off would be the short review! The cost to stay in this "luxury" accommodation is completely ludicrous for what it is. We booked a stay in the Tiger Lodges and had 3 very disappointed kids as the Tigers weren't there for the first day of our stay. Now the line we keep hearing on WSP's social media with others making the exact same observation is that the animals are kept wild and make their own choices etc etc but categorically the Tigers were not there on day one of our overnight stay. We were in the park and able to access the public viewing areas all day which we did. They might have been at the vets or whatever but they were not in the enclosure. Fine the welfare of the animals comes first but the park should discount or reschedule your stay if this is the case. We did see a flash of them early in the morning for about a total of 60 seconds. The accommodation itself was of a decent standard but given the price you pay (£1300+) They need to up the game with the food offering which was roughly Premier Inn level and there was no stocked fridge/mini bar which is would be reasonable to expect at this lofty price point. The park itself was good we could have saved a fortune by staying in better actual luxury accommodation nearby and simply coming in for one of the very good minibus tours (this was well worth the money) But trust me the Tiger Lodges are not at all fit for purpose and are a complete scam and WSP know this. A member of staff who had been there a few weeks told us she had never seen the tigers! They are reclusive animals which is fine but don't set up a very expensive tourist attraction around something that doesn't work and charge people an absolutely scandalous amount of money to stay in what is basically a well decorated shed. Our complaints to WSP have been thorough and they have had a full and lengthy opportunity to answer our complaint but these have been brushed away. We have been completely robbed by this company do not believe the fake reviews especially on their Facebook page this is a potentially great experience but Tigers are not at all suited to this kind of attraction as they simply hide in their house all day or are kept inside for other reasons.

Absolutely amazing experience. Even the aircon not working didn't ruin it for is. Dinner and breakfast being delivered to our lodge adds to the experience... as does the private sealion showing. It is expensive but for what you get for your money it's definitely worth it. Rooms: Superbly laid out. Great view. Noteworthy details: The walk from the lodges to the park is a fairly steep hill. If mobility is an issue highly recommend arranging rides to and from the theme park/main walking part or the park.
