I turned up out of the blue and Simon got to work examining my aircon within a few minutes. He tested the pressure and found it to be low. He believed a re-gas would get it up and running, so set about connecting up his machinery. Half an hour later I was off with properly icy cold aircon for a really reasonable price! I didn't know the aircon service history, so the leaking could've been part of the natural aging process - he advised putting a UV dye in the system so any leaks could be easily spotted in future. The system passed the machinery's diagnostic check during the process, so time will tell. Overall I am delighted with Simon's attitude, skill-set and reasonable pricing.
