    Went last night for the first time and to be honest disappointed ! I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants and never seen chicken all shredded up ? The crunchy chicken burrito was just a mush of chicken and rice and everything was overpowered by coriander ?? Again not seen coriander in Mexican food before? Sorry! Also the Horsforth Brewery Mexican pale ale which was described as good with Mexican food tasted far too floral and just a weird taste generally . Not a good first impression at all I’m afraid . Manana Abersoch , N Wales . Thanks for your reply , but I also worked in a Mexican restaurant kitchen and never saw coriander ! Maybe you should give us the chance to try something different ? Maybe we chose wrongly ? Were trying to replicate fajitas ? Also I’d love to know the ingredient in the beer that tasted so floral ? Not being critical , just constructive. May I add that the tables were very sticky and didn’t feel clean, we were not asked if we wanted another drink and despite the fact you were quiet our plates were left on the table until we paid ! How you got an Oliver award defies belief !

    Having been here before last night's visit was extremely disappointing we were placed on a table up some steps in a back room and quite frankly forgotten about. We had to get up to find someone to take our order then after an hour and 45 mins we went to pay for drinks an leave just as our order appeared from the kitchen. Two of the party still wanted to leave there were 4 of us but we talked them into staying convincing them that the food was worth it. We stayed food not that brilliant last night had better there. My chilli was tepid at best. They did apologise and knock 12 pound off the total bill however its our last visit.

    Great staff and very welcoming. Meat for the tacos lacked flavor but there are multiple great salsas and hot sauce bottles to use at your will. My criticism comes from an extensive Mexican restaurant experience in America. But for the UK this is superb. Please open another location in Harrogate 😁. There are zero options in Harrogate.
