This was an adventure, time to get framed a piece of embroidery that had been about thirty years in the making! So it really mattered. I was delighted with the framing, great care and attention to detail were obvious when I saw the finished work. S1 framing were very skilled, the frame and mounts beautifully echoing the colours of the embroidery. I appreciated the time Matthew took to talk me through the choices and arrive at a final exquisite piece of work, combining my embroidery with his framing expertise. Costs were reasonable, I had expected to pay more! The studios were easy to find, parking available close by, phones were answered quickly and appointments booked. S1 framers were also able to pack the finished work and send it off to my daughter in London. I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending these kind, expert craftspeople for the framing of precious items.

Really pleased with the quality of the tray frames created for my 3 paintings on canvas. Good advice given regarding the framing options for a work done on paper and I opted for a double mount, frame and non-reflective art glass which really shows the painting to full advantage. Good personal service given throughout. Recommended.

Very happy with both the service and product offered by S1 Framing. I ordered two made to measure frames on their website and was very pleased with the production timeframe and the fantastic end product. They called to let me know when the items were ready to collect and I was reassured by the safety protocols in place when I got there (sanitiser, distancing, limited people allowed in at once, etc). Will definitely use in the future.
