Simon is an absolutely amazing true professional master craftsman in wood. He worked with us with great understanding and skill at the design stage to turn our dreams into a superb solution and a unique finished product. He replaced tired double doors with a secret bookcase pair of doors that go between our conservatory and sitting room. The bookcase has a lovely finish in solid wood and opens all the way round to form a pair of display shelves framing the opening when required. It was a real pleasure to have him working on this for us and we are so pleased with every aspect. Now we just need to finish decorating the conservatory!

Refurbishing our existing kitchen the project required an additional 2 cupboard doors to be made to match the existing doors. Only a small job but not straightforward given the design profile of the doors …from the first telephone call through to collection Simon and his team could not have been more helpful and enthusiastic … Simon quickly provided us with options and estimated cost. The work was carried out to the highest standard … the doors fit perfectly and are indistinguishable from the originals (apart from being white ahead of the kitchen all being painted) The additional doors are a small but key part of our overall project and we’re delighted with them! I would strongly recommend Simon to anyone interested in commissioning bespoke furniture. We are really happy with the design and craftsmanship of the work Simon and his team have completed for us. Simon designed and made a built in TV unit and a set of bedroom furniture, including built in wardrobes. We were really impressed with the time Simon spent patiently extracting our half-baked ideas and turning them in to furniture designs, this couldn’t have been easy as we weren’t completely sure what we wanted. Simon spent hours researching solutions to our demanding brief, especially on the TV unit as it fits around a fire. He then produced 3-D drawings of the designs and was happy to modify them as many times as necessary, all of this without asking for a penny! When it came to delivering the furniture and fitting the built in units, the team put down dust sheets and tidy up every evening which keeps the disruption and mess to a minimum. They are a very careful and considerate team, and a nice bunch of blokes to boot! The end result is fantastic, it all looks great and the quality is off the scale. The final bill was the same as the quote.

Working on the designs with Simon was a great process because he is very sensitive to the kind of person you are and what your tastes are, and I felt he had an extremely good understanding of what I wanted. He is patient and helpful, and really makes sure he has everything right. The pieces were installed yesterday, and I really could not believe how beautiful they are. The quality of workmanship is superb, and the designs are exactly what I was hoping for. I have to keep going to look at them they are so beautiful! These really are lifetime pieces - a great investment that I know I am going to enjoy forever. I can’t recommend Simon and his team highly enough.
