Somewhat underwhelming 'Scandinavian-style' experience at lunchtime. Open sandwiches (smashed avocado, and salmon in sour cream) were OK, but would have been improved with better bread. Space (although not full) felt crowded, with too many laptop users, parked in front of signs saying no laptops. My partner's ginger beer tasted fresh, and zingy. Sparkling water, as you might expect, was bubbly.

Do you ever feel homesick? I certainly do. Nothing helps more than a taste of “home”, and Söderberg provided me with the perfect opportunity to have exactly that: kardemommeboller. If you’re a Scandinavian abroad, on holiday or missing some less sweet pastry: you MUST try the cardamom buns at this bakery. Equally, if you’re not from Scandinavia but you’re as in love with our culture as we are, I couldn’t recommend this spot more!
