Recommended by a family member who had a stairs carpet done recently. We were looking to laminate a 2 bedroom flat in London and the shop gave us a reasonable quote. We however preferred a laminate colour from Wicks and a 12mm and were pleased when told that SA Carpets could still offer a fitting only service and will travel to London if we paid the fuel cost of £120. Even with that added, the quote seemed acceptable. As the laminate from Wicks was on a special offer, we bought it in Birmingham and Mr Asif kindly agreed to store it for us in his warehouse, and to send it to London in the van with the Fitters. We asked for his best Fitters in case if something went wrong, it would be difficult for them to travel back to London to correct the problem. He booked Sajjid and his team and reassured us that the whole flat could be completed in one day. We also paid extra for the shop to supply laminate foil underlay plus matching beading and plinths. Later we read some of the reviews and became a little concerned and called Mr Asif for reassurance that the job will be completed properly. He kindly gave us the number of Sajjid so we could liaise with him directly regarding any concerns we may have. Throughout, Asif and Sajjid were polite, reassuring and caring and wanted us to be completely satisfied. They were always patient throughout our several frantic messages and phone calls. Looking back, I should not have worried because the job was carried out very professionally. Sajjid and his 2 young colleagues arrived at 10.30am promptly and started immediately. They were fast and experienced and watching them work as a team was amazing, completing the whole flat in 5 hours! In the past we have had laminate fitted many times, but l have to say Sajjid and his team produced a very high standard. No unfinished/rough corners or careless work, laminate cut with precision avoiding wastage. Very impressed!! They also kindly cut 2 doors for me at the bottom once l removed them, without charging extra. Normally l think its £10-20 per per door. Aside from that, the only other point noting is the disposal of the empty cardboard boxes and plastic. The team were not able to dispose of those as l had not discussed this with the shop. However, it was not a problem for me as l took it all to the recycling Centre . However, it may be an issue for other customers and should be clarified at the beginning. Thank you Asif, Sajjid and the whole team. An excellent job! We are really pleased with our laminate floor and have already recommended you to our family and friends.

A decent selection of flooring but mainly in 8 mm thickness which is not suitable for heavy duty areas such as living or bedrooms due to heavy furniture.wad told that 12mm thickness could also be ordered. Price is about the same as other providers, but I'd still shop around
