My son attends the London dojo and was very keen to continue his Karate training during lockdown. When we heard that there was an opportunity to carrying on via Zoom I contacted Ben. Ben and Alison were extremely welcoming and made my son feel very much part of their Dojo. All the sessions were delivered with massive enthusiasm and there was a number of times that Ben and Alison personalised messages helping and encouraging him. Ben’s zoom classes were a massive positive to come out of what has been a very strange few months with Covid. Thank you Ben and Alison.

They explain things thoroughly, at my pace, and make it as inclusive a possible. Even with COVID19, the club has continued online and socially distanced in the outdoors where possible which has been a great benefit. Looking forward to when the Dojo opens again.

My family and me are members of an affiliated Belgian karate club, and we got to know Ben and Alison during international seminars in London. We’ve been training with them in their dojo in Essex (where we had a very warm welcome), and during the lockdown via Zoom. Ben and Alison are both brilliant and highly skilled trainers, who manage to get the best out of everybody. Even when I had to follow most of their trainings via Zoom, I still improved my techniques, thanks to their creativity, support and real personal feedback. Oh, and they are good fun as well! It’s always a pleasure training with them and we hope to see them back real soon in the dojo!
