    I attended the Indian street food course last week and I really enjoyed it. Robin was friendly and funny and each step was clearly presented in a way that was easy to follow with lots of tips and ideas given to. Along with the delicious food we got to make, Robin also presented videos he had taken on his travels which were interesting as well as some superb, vibrant photography which really lent itself to the atmosphere. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the Rutland Cookery School and would love to attend another course in the future.

    Thankyou for a brilliant course today on pasta and sauces. The recipes were perfect, with everything we made looking and tasting fabulous. Robin is such an experienced chef and it shows in everything he does, getting the message across in a friendly, relaxed manner. The six hour course was excellent value for money and thoroughly enjoyable. I would recommend Oakham Cookery School to everyone and hope to be back soon.

    Attended the stocks and sauces course on 11th Feb. This was a really good day. Robin is an excellent tutor, lots of hands on experience and we made some fabulous dishes, which are easy to recreate at home. Learned so much more than how to make stocks and sauces.

Very well organised practical side to things, backed up with informative and interesting theory. It was great to come away having made some really tasty bread, knowing that you could actually do the same at home

    I've attended two courses in the last 10 days and I genuinely don't know what Robin, Karen and their team could do to improve the experience. Robin (who leads the classes) is a highly experienced chef and is so keen to pass on his knowledge and experience to leave you excited about what you have achieved during the day. It is obvious that he has gone to extreme lengths to ensure that when you leave the class you feel inspired and able to go away and make the recipes. The class is a great mix of making lots of food but also learning about the origins of the dishes you are making. Thank you so much - I can't wait to join you on future courses.

    Just back from a fabulous and enjoyable day of Italian cooking and what a brilliant experience. Well set out work stations and 8 in the class. Robin demonstrated first and we could see regardless of where we were stationed as he had a camera well positioned that we could see on the screen too. A very busy day indeed, we packed in so much in six hours. On the menu rissotto with pigeon. Duck with gnocchi. Ravioli with sweet potato and crispy bacon filling with butter and sage sauce. Orange panacotta with crumble topping. Walked away feeling we had learnt alot with lovely people. Definitely be looking at other courses. Highly recommend this cookery school.

    I recently attended the Spanish Cafe course and had a great time. After years of fearing the kitchen, I attended a ‘Cooking for Men’ course with Robin about 3 years ago and had been really looking forward to attending another course ever since. I have to admit that I was slightly anxious about attending one of the ‘proper’ courses, but I needn’t have worried. There was a real mix of skills in the room, but we all managed to produce some great tasting food, guided fantastically by Robin as he entertained us with stories of his experiences.
