    The new Managing Director has come in and hiked up the rent unfairly on properties without giving proper notice. Mould in rooms in the house that you can’t use and I doubt they will get sorted. They need to stop using the slogan of affordable housing for the local community as that’s no longer the case. Would not recommend these to anyone. More interested in putting more pressure on tenants with unfair rent increases where they take advantage of knowing there is no other affordable housing available and they leave already struggling tenants in a cost of living crisis in to more financial difficulties Shame on you Ruskin Properties.Out for yourselves.

    We would absolutely recommend Ruskin Properties to others. My partner and I chose to rent a property with Ruskin for an initial 6-month period, but the service was so good we actually extended this twice, and in the end stayed at the property for around 21 months. Communication and organisation are absolutely top notch, and having worked in the property sector for many years I appreciate how rare and valuable this is. In addition, their in-house maintenance team are always on hand to help with any issues that arise during the tenancy. We were very grateful for this one snowy winter evening when the boiler stopped working, and even though it’s was after hours, Ruskin sent someone out with some plug in oil heaters to tie us over until the morning (which were actually very good). Then, heating engineers worked on the boiler first thing the next morning and got everything fixed for us in one visit. There have been a few things like this throughout the tenancy, where their maintenance and support have been put to the test and they have always shined through - and kept us informed at every step of the way. It feels like a very bespoke service and every member of the team we encountered are friendly, helpful, and dedicated to providing and excellent service. Thank you Ruskin Properties - we hope to deal with you again in the future!
