Mr Eckersley is a top hand specialist, probably the best in the UK. I am very with the advice I have received from him following a wrist dislocation and radius fracture following a bike accident.

Can't fault him. A man who really cares. Have seen him for many hand problems over the years. He us always my first choice. He takes time to listen to you and takes your views into consideration. He doesn't force his viewpoint on you. He gives you all the facts and let's you decide. Nothing is too much trouble. I have mentioned unrelated problems when seeing him and he always makes an appointment or tests if necessary without referring back to GP if within his remit as a hand and wrist Dr. This saves time all round and sorts out problems quicker. If only more Drs could do this the NHS would be more cost effective and speedy. A consummate professional.

Mr Eckersley is a World Class Hand Surgeon. If you want the Best in business he is the one. From what I have heard many hand specialists come to Rupert for second opinions. A professional and modest individual who has a patient first attitude and patients well-being at heart. A veteran in Hand Surgery who managed to get my hand back in working order after a complicated comminuted fracture of my wrist and hand. He is backed by Class leading Hand Therapists at The Wellington who take over the rehab following surgery. Albert Einstein of Hand Surgery if you ask me. Do not hesitate if you ever have a hand issue that you need checking.
