    As a very new beginner runner. I purchased previously what I thought were a good pair of running shoes, some adidas Response Running Shoes for around £38. Never tried them on. Just went off reviews and bought online. Done around 6 runs in them but not comfortable and was beginning to put me off my new journey of running. Discovered they were too narrow. Visited Mark at Running Free who was very helpful. Had me on the treadmill videoing and reviewing my form and giving pointers which I found very helpful. Checked my foot size etc.Tried on a few trainers (which I should of done in the first place so lesson learnt) found the perfect shoe. See pics. Settled on the asics gel-kayano 29 mens and now my running confidence has been elevated thanks to the experience with Mark and my new purchase. I would highly recommend Mark at Running Free. Go here instead of Up and Running in Bournemouth as that guy was useless! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for Mark at Running Free!

    I am completely new to running and wanted to make sure I had good shoes to start. The two girls (sorry i didn’t catch your names) who served me were beyond amazing! They gave me tips on how to run properly based on watching me run, and then spent time finding me the perfect shoe and socks to prevent blistering. you really couldn’t get better service and i’ll 100% be making the trip back next time I need anything!

    What a pleasure buying shoes from you today! It really proves that you can't beat a physical shop for things like shoes especially. After struggling for the past couple of months ordering shoes online, sending them back, incurring postage fees and wasted time, after just 10 minutes in the shop today talking to Laura, I'd found not one, but two pairs of shoes that fitting perfectly and were ideal for my needs. I might have then spent 45 minutes making sure they were comfortable by walking and running about in the store, but the in-store coffee and welcoming staff and other customers made it a pleasure. I won't be going back to buying shoes online, that's for sure! Thank you!!

    I had the pleasure of going to RunningFree last week after promising myself I’d run more in 2023. I had no idea there were so many different options to choose from. Laura was amazing, after doing a GAIT analysis, she helped me test loads of trainers until I found the perfect pair! There were support options, nuetral options, then cloud runners and responsive runners, also various size preferences and more! Without Laura, I’d still be putting off my goals, and now I’ve managed to beat my personal bests for distance and time! Thank you!

After having gait analysis I was given fantastic advice on my technique and what shoe would be perfect for my style and use. Three weeks later my running has become more comfortable and quicker.
