He did a gait analysis appointment with me, which was really interesting and useful, and then spent significant time with me as I tried on his top recommended trainers that would meet my needs to best support my walking/running. I haven’t bought running shoes in 10+ years and came away with 2 awesome pairs! In preparation for the London Marathon I decided to get some new runners but wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, so popped into Runners Need Clapham and got the best advice from Andrew, not only on which sneaks ticked all the boxes for me but also on marathon prep in general, he has obviously ran many himself as he was super knowledgeable!! Forget buying online, go and pay Andrew a visit, he’ll sort you out and you won’t regret it… ***** P.S. I went with the Brooks Hyperion Max and they earned me an 11min marathon PB

Really great customer service! Tom was so knowledgable and went out of his way to make sure I got the right fit, taking time to explain the gait analysis and best running practise. Both Tom and Andrew were very friendly and their expertise really made the difference,. Cannot recommend enough!

Had a gait analysis with Andrew (I believe). He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and I must have tried about 10 different pairs on with him before finding the 'right' pair. Couldn't recommend this shop, or him, enough.
