    What a wonderful hair salon. The staff and the Manager could not be more friendly. Given I was having a restyle and a change of colour they took time to listen to what I wanted and asked me lots of questions to make sure they got it right.     DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! If I could give it no stars I would. The worst salon I have ever had the misfortune of going to. I am 18 years old and I have a few mental health problems - one of which being anxiety. This was my first trip alone to a salon as my mum usually goes with me for support in case anything goes wrong but due to covid this was not possible. This was a big step for me and I had a lot of anxiety about my consultation and it took a lot of self-convincing to get the courage to go in. The website states that a ombré is £60. Balayage states "from..." beneath it but ombré does not. Being young and not knowing much about the cost of hair services, I went by the price on the website and at my consultation I was never told any differently to the price on the website. I did not want a dark root as I was told I would have to come in every so often to maintain it, which I could not afford to do. They said this was fine and they could just do the light ends for me. What I was not told is that because I didn't want the dark root, this would mean I would have to have a balayage instead - something I did not want. I arrived on the day of my appointment and was sat upstairs for almost 20 minutes after the time my appointment was supposed to start before my stylist came over. She asked if my appointment was for a balayage (this is the same stylist who did my consultation) and I said no it was for an ombré. I was not at any point told an ombré would not be possible because I didn't want the dark root. I was given a balayage instead of an ombré and being 18, I thought that what I was given was an ombré until my friend told me otherwise. I was also charged for things I was not aware would cost extra, like the toner which I know you have to have and the blowdry (I did not want to leave with wet hair). Again this was my first time at a salon alone. I also was charged for something called Silapex, which was never mentioned nor was I told I would be having or paying for. The stylist just mixed it in the bleach apparently without telling me. This cost me £125 for something I didn't want and for extras I didn't know would cost and for an extra I didn't even know anything about. I phoned the stylist the next day to discuss this and she was not very helpful at all. My mum then went up to the salon today to speak to them as I was working and could not go myself and they were extremely rude to her and said that they will not refund any money at all, not even for the Silapex that I was not told about nor knew I was having or had to pay for. I am disgusted with the incredibly poor customer service I have received and with my whole experience at your dreadful salon. I did not even receive an apology. I will be making sure to let people know not to go to your salon - both friends and strangers - as I don't want anyone to risk having the awful experience I have had and face the rudeness of the staff. You have taken advantage of an 18 year old girl who knew nothing about hair or salons and who trusted you (despite my anxiety). I hope you are ashamed of yourselves and I will be making sure to let everyone possible know this story and not to go to your salon so they don't suffer from the same experience.
