Richard guided me through the process of selecting the best quality diamonds to fit my budget and created a perfect engagement ring for my fiancé. Richard took on a job nobody else would touch, as piece originally made in India. I had a bracelet that I had literally worn out after 17 years continual wear. Richard took it apart and reworked it. My husband bought my engagement ring from a second hand jewellers 9 years ago now back when we didn’t have much it was the most perfect ring and I was absolutely obsessed with it however when I took it back to the jewellers he bought it from to get it resized they completely botched it leaving it lumpy and bumpy and even managed to completely take off some of the detail on the side! Me being the soppy sentimental person I am never had the heart to get it replaced so I actually can’t thank you enough that when I bought in both my engagement ring and wedding ring for a clean you gave me back what I can only describe as my ring but 100x better you not only took off all the lumps and bumps you even surprised me by managing to put the missing design back on the side I actually cant thank you enough for doing that, I know it wasn’t much of a task for you but it meant so much to me. I Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

It is now just over a fortnight since my wife Diana and I were in Sussex enjoying a short break with my sister. You may recall I telephoned regarding a small Sapphire and Diamond ring, bequeathed to my wife some years ago, which unfortunately would not fit her finger of choice (despite an alteration made a few years ago). Whilst being very busy you kindly agreed to see us and establish what could be done to make the ring fit. What an amazing and enjoyable experience this was. You were friendly, kind, considerate and understanding of the sentimentality of the ring. You were successfully able to resize it to fit and with alteration finished then checked stone settings and gave it a good clean and polish. The ring looked superb and sparkled well in the sunlight ! Diana and I are so pleased with the finished alteration. The fit is good and she has worn it just about every day since, and shared the repair story with a number of friends and family, all being very impressed. The whole event was a bit of a surprise for Diana. We certainly didn’t expect to arrive at your premises with a ring wrapped in a tissue and leave with Diana wearing it on her finger. So a big thank you for your kindness, consideration and of course appreciation of your skill in completing the alteration. The event will be a happy memory for years to come.
