I took a pay cut to work here for my love of animals and welfare and had my probation period ended without a warning, for what seemed like multiple made up reasons of my ‘performance’ after 2 weeks! I was given very little instructions throughout the day and was mainly working solo all day. I informed the staff of my back problems prior to getting the job and they said I would be supported by all staff, to which they used against me in the end as I asked for help ONE time because I was suffering with back pain. Such a shame, the staff made me feel too uncomfortable to even go back and volunteer. Really didn’t want to write this review but needed to be said.

Adopted a kitten from here . Can’t praise them highly enough. They gave us everything we needed for success- and the kitten’s absolutely wonderful . All of the advice and support we’ve been given has made the experience really painless. I’d also like to add that I don’t agree with people complaining about the checking processes - the RSPCA just want to make sure that each animal has found their forever home - what’s wrong with that? If you’re going to adopt an animal you need to be realistic and prepared . Fair enough- I think.

The people of Worcester have such a special place with such welcoming people when I visit. Donated carpet and tubing, popped in the shop. Each time I go to a fete, they are so friendly, I feel I've known them for years.
