FAQ

What is the adoption process for animals at your shelter?

At RSPCA Veterinary Clinic, our adoption process begins with an initial consultation with one of our adoption counselors, who can help determine which animal might be the best fit for your home. From there, we require an application and a home check to ensure the safety and well-being of our animals. Once approved, we ask for an adoption fee and provide all necessary paperwork.

Are there any adoption fees, and if so, what do they include?

Yes, there is an adoption fee for all animals adopted from our shelter. This fee varies depending on the animal, but it typically includes spaying or neutering, up-to-date vaccinations, and a microchip.

How do you ensure the health and well-being of animals in your care?

At RSPCA Veterinary Clinic, we have a team of experienced veterinarians and animal care staff who work tirelessly to ensure that our animals are healthy, happy, and well-cared for. We have strict protocols in place for feeding, exercise, socialization, and medical care, and we regularly monitor our animals to make sure they are thriving.

Do you provide any training or support for new pet owners?

Yes, we offer a range of resources and support for new pet owners, including training classes, behavior consultations, and access to our veterinary team. We also have a wealth of information available on our website and through our adoption counselors.

How can I support your shelter through donations or volunteering?

We are always grateful for donations and volunteers who help us provide the best possible care for our animals. You can donate directly through our website or by mail, and we have a number of volunteer opportunities available, including animal care, administrative support, and fundraising. Please contact us for more information.

When enquiring about a MRI I was quite rudely told they can't afford a MRI scanner as they are a charity, so go and find a specialist somewhere else. Maybe, you could afford an MRI scanner if Chris Sherwood, the CEO of RSPCA donated some of his £150,000 earnings he takes from the charity each year! Disgusting
